Swim Lesson enrollment for Session II (July 8-19) and Session III (July 22-Aug. 2) has been expanded.  Classes fill really quickly for Swim Lessons, so don't delay registration.  Class Ages/Times information and Online Registration.


Nickel Plate PUBLIC BEACH 

Open dawn to dusk. NO lifeguard on duty.  Concessions and parking gate are staffed during season, WEATHER ALLOWING, from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.  PARKING FEE DURING SEASON: $6.00 per vehicle.  Season Parking Pass available AT GATE -- or order by MAIL - Nickel Plate Beach 2019 Parking Pass Order Form.  BEACH WATER QUALITY posted during Season by the Erie County Health Department - follow link for current results:  Erie County Health Dept. -Beach Monitoring Program.  MAP TO NICKEL PLATE BEACH

BEACH YOGA @ Lake Front Park

Tuesdays & Thursdays, 10am - 11am at Lake Front Park -- you are welcome to join session in-progress!  Arrive early to register at class. 
Session I: May 21 - June 27, 2019.  Sessions II: July 9 - Aug. 15, 2019.  Session III: Aug. 20 - Sept. 26, 2019

SAFETY TOWN - for children preparing to enter Kindergarten in Fall, 2019

A Two-Week Program, Monday-Thursday mornings, 9am -11:30am both weeks (No Friday Classes), June 10-13 and June 17-20, 2019.

Held at Shawnee Elementary, Safety Town is 8-days of planned curriculum to help children become accustomed to the school setting, while learning important basics of traffic, bus safety, fire, water safety, and more.  

SAFETY TOWN "EXTENDED CAMP" - Immediately following Safety Town - REGISTRATION IS FULL
Extend Safety Town Fun until 2:30pm! This program is open to children enrolled in Safety Town. Extended Camp--requires additional registration and fee. 

Held at Shawnee Elementary immediately following Safety Town. 11:30am-2:30pm.  



Huron Decals

Decals are $5.00 each; donation to the Huron Parks Foundation. Click on the Decal to the left for mail order form. New option: "static cling" decals can be removed without leaving residue!
