Santa arrives at Boat Basin at 2pm by boat (weather allowing). FREE ADMISSION to visit Santa & Mrs. Claus at the Boat Basin Building, 2:00 -7:00 pm. Donation of children hats/gloves to the "Warm Hands from Young Hearts" tree are appreciated. HOLIDAY FIREWORKS AT 6pm AT HURON BOAT BASIN!  LIGHT-UP HURON and LIGHT THE LIGHTHOUSE @ 7pm (Ceremony at base of Lighthouse Pier). Free horse-drawn carriage rides to enjoy fun activities along North Main Street--including visiting Frozen movie characters, Santa's Market, Storytime, Food Trucks and Treats, cookie decorating and more -- sponsored in partnership with Huron Chamber of Commerce. 



WALKING at WOODLANDS - Nov. 4th - April 2020

Monday through Thursday evenings (ONLY on School Days), 6:00pm - 7:30pm. FREE PROGRAM - Safe, indoor walking all fall and winter! 

No pre-registration required.  Held at Woodlands Intermediate School, 1810 Maple Ave.  Enter the school through door on the EAST SIDE of the building --  more entry information.  Many thanks to the Huron City School District for providing access to Woodlands School for this program! 


Fall YOGA - Indoors at Boat Basin Marina Building 

Tuesday evenings - 6:00-7:00pm
Current Session runs through Dec. 17, 2019  -- you are welcome to join session in-progress!  

With instructor Karen Polvinale; accomodates all skill levels - BEGINNERS WELCOME !  $50.00 registration fee for Current Session, 10 classes through Dec. 17th ($5.00 per class).  Arrive early to register at class or call 419-433-8487 for more information.)  *NEW - REGISTER ONLINE*

Nickel Plate Beach 

PUBLIC BEACH located off Tiffin Ave., then Nickel Plate Drive - Map.  Hours - Dawn to Dusk.  The park remains open in "off season" - NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY.  More information on Nickel Plate Park/Beach. 



Huron Decals

Decals are $5.00 each; donation to the Huron Parks Foundation. Click on the Decal to the left for mail order form. New option: "static cling" decals can be removed without leaving residue! 


Park Memorials - Donations
