WINTER FEST is Saturday, Dec. 4th - 1-6pm.  The celebration kicks off with a parade at 12:30pm --led by the Grinch; parade begins at St. Peter's Church. SANTA & MRS. CLAUS will be at the Boat Basin Marina Building from 1pm-5pm (Free Admission; thanks to Carmeuse Lime & Stone for their support).  Free horse-drawn CARRIAGE RIDES from 1-5pm. FIREWORKS at 6pm (thank you to H&R Block for their support).  Shopping, fun for kids, food trucks, and more -- Check out the flyer for a complete schedule of events. 




Walking at Woodlands -- Monday-Thursdays on School Days 

Beginning November 1st -- Safe, indoor walking!  FREE program, no registration required.  Enjoy the health benefits of walking without worrying about the weather.  Monday through Thursdays, 6pm - 7:30pm on School Days.  No Walking if school is closed or cancelled.  Click here for more information on building access.  Our thanks to Huron City Schools for providing access to Woodlands School.  


Nickel Plate Beach 

Nickel Plate Park is open daily.  No Parking Fee after Labor Day weekend.  NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY.  Click here for IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION. 

Water quality at Nickel Plate Beach and other area beaches, is monitored by the Erie County Health Department DURING SWIMMING SEASON  -- click here to link to their test results.

Huron Decals

Decals are $5.00 each; donation to the Huron Parks Foundation. Click on the Decal to the left for mail order form. New option: "static cling" decals can be removed without leaving residue!
