The Huron City Council consists of seven members, including the mayor. Each member serves a four-year term. To be eligible for serve on the Council, one must be a registered elector and have lived within the City limits for at least two years.
City Council establishes the overall policy direction of the Community. The responsibility of implementation of the Council’s objectives is delegated to a Council-appointed City Manager.

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Huron, Ohio will hold regular meetings on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each and every month at 6:30 p.m. in the Huron City Hall, 417 Main Street, Huron, OH.
Notice is further given that when a regular or special meeting falls on a recognized legal holiday, said meeting will be held the next day at the time and place designated above unless otherwise announced.
