Mucci Farms ran a test of its lighting system on Saturday. The lights were left on mistakenly for the remainder of the weekend but the blackout curtains were not deployed. This should not be an issue when the curtains are properly in place. We apologize for the inconvenience.

City of Huron- Road Closure Notice-Tuesday, September 25, 2018
Weather permitting, the intersection area of Center Street/US6 at Jim Campbell Blvd will be closed on Tuesday, September 25th from 6:30am to 5pm for repairs to the roadway. Road closure and detour signage will be in place directing traffic to alternate routes around this area. US6 will be reduced to one lane heading westbound.

City of Huron- Council Finance Committee Vacancy
The City of Huron is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the City Council Finance Committee. Members on this board must be residents of the city and will serve in a voluntary capacity. Background in Finance/Accounting desired. This committee has set quarterly meetings at 5:00pm, meets additionally as needed, and holds several weekly budget meetings in the fall. The committee has seven members comprised of (3) City Council members, three (3) citizen members, and the Treasurer of Huron City Schools. There are no set terms for members. This committee provides review and recommendation relative to the proposed municipal budget, debt financing and financial policies.
