Farmers Market
Come out and buy the freshest produce around! Introduced in 2006, this program was a hit with the community. We are growing each year, adding more quality vendors. We are proud to have First Federal Savings of Lorain sponsor this event again in 2012.
Held every Thursday from July 19th – October 25th from 3:30pm-6:30pm at the Huron Boat Basin.

Pumpkin Fest

Christmas with Santa

Featuring live reindeer, carriage rides, our “Warm Hands from Young Hearts” tree, crafts, and of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus!
Inspiration Run 2012
The Inspiration 5K Fun Run/Walk is a unique event. Part fundraiser/part Huron Parks & Recreation program, this event inspires us at Parks & Recreation year after year! The Inspiration Run is a non-competitive event that draws family, friends, and groups who come to support the cause, or just use the event as a kick-off of their own inspiration to live a healthier lifestyle. We see many families who make it a “family day” by participating in the run and then planning a family picnic in the park afterwards. Local businesses contribute as well by donating water, fruit & snacks for our participants; and volunteers help out at water stations and registration.
The 2012 Inspiration run will honor the 10 year anniversary of the passing of Ryan Foss and Michelle Saunders; the inspiration for the Inspiration Run. Fifity percent of the proceeds will go directly to the Foss-Saunders Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Date: Sunday, June 24th @Fabens Park
Check-in/Registration from 11:00am-11:45am. Run starts at 12:00pm.
Registration Fee $10.
