CITY WIDE GARAGE SALE II - Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014 - 9am-1pm, Huron Boat Basin - $12/space

Reserve your space today!  Individuals or businesses can sell household items, crafts, collectibles or family heirlooms. No food or drink sales allowed. Pre-Registration required. Spaces are limited; first-come first-serve basis. Space size is 9'x19' (parking space). We will advertise as much as possible. EVENT HELD RAIN OR SHINE. Sorry, no refunds. Registration Form


BEACH YOGA - Session II:  July 1-31.  Session III:  Aug. 5-Sept. 4.  Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10-11:00 am at Lake Front Park. Enjoy your workout while inspired by the beauty of Lake Front Park! Yoga is excellent for developing flexibility, core strength, muscular strength, balance and stress reduction; with instructor Karen Polvinale.  In the event of inclement weather, class will be held at Christ Episcopal Church. What is Pickleball? Community members are organizing Introduction to Pickleball sessions at Fabens Park Tennis Courts on June 19th at 6pm. Additional sessions will be held on June 25, July 8, and July 15, all at 6pm @ Fabens Park. Described as "A little like tennis; a little like badminton; and a little like ping pong," organizers state it is the "fastest growing sport in America for men and women in the 55+ age group." Beginners are welcome; equipment provided.  


WALK WITH THE DOC - Monday, July 14, 2014.  6:30 pm at Lake Shore Electric Trail (meet at the parking lot behind the Huron High School stadium). Walking offers many health benefits -- whether this is you first step toward a healthier life-style or an addition to your exercise routine, plan to join us to learn more and experience the benefits of walking. Free event.
