Breakfast with the Bunny & Egg Hunt - Saturday, April 1st

Pancake Breakfast with the Bunny, prepared by Huron Lions, at First Presbyterian Church.  Egg Hunt is held at the Huron Boat Basin. More info and event times

 

 

Spring City-Wide Garage Sale - Saturday, June 3rd

Reserve a space now -- turn "Spring Clean-up" items into Cash!   9am - 2pm at the Huron Boat Basin. More information. 

 

"Little League" Spring Baseball-Softball 

This is NOT a City Parks & Recreation program -- it is organized by the Huron Baseball-Softball Program. Their registration dates were Feb. 19 and Feb. 26. You may still be able to register - Click here for more information and the program's contact information. 

 

Walking at Woodlands - now through April 27th

Monday - Thursdays on School Days, 6 pm - 7:30 pm.  FREE PROGRAM - Safe, Indoor Walking; no matter the weather! Held at Woodlands Intermediate School (Entrance to Building Instructions) - No Walking Program if School is Closed/Cancelled. 

 

Safety Town - June 12-15 and June 19-22

For children entering Kindergarten in the Fall 2017. Two week program, Monday-Thursday both weeks. More information.

2017 Summer Youth Programs

Information on new formats for 2017 Summer Camp programs (including Junior Explorer Camp and New Art Camp) - click here.  Information on Youth Sports Camps and Swim Lessons - click here.  Note: not all registration fees have been pubished yet, but we wanted to make the dates available as soon as possible. Check back for fee updates.  We are also working on a new feature to allow easy online registrations!  Planning to have that feature up and running by April 1st!

Nickel Plate Beach 

Beach Water Quality Testing is conducted by Erie County Beach Monitoring Program during the season and will resume on Memorial Day weekend in 2017.

Decals are $5.00 each; donation to the Huron Parks Foundation. Click on the Decal to the left for mail order form. New option: "static cling" decals can be removed without leaving residue!
