Spring City-Wide Garage Sale

YES, SPRING WILL BE HERE ... It's not too early to think about turning "Spring Clean-up" items into Cash!  The Huron City-Wide Garage Sale I is Saturday, June 3, 2017, 9am - 2pm at the Huron Boat Basin. More information.

YOUTH "Little League" SPRING BASEBALL-SOFTBALL is NOT a City Parks & Recreation program -- it is organized by the Huron Baseball-Softball Program. Their registration dates are Sunday Feb. 19 and Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017, 1-4pm at the Huron Eagles Club.  Click here for more information and contact information. 

Walking at Woodlands

Monday - Thursdays on School Days, through April 27, 2017, 6 pm - 7:30 pm. FREE PROGRAM - Safe, Indoor Walking; no matter the weather! Held at Woodlands Intermediate School (Entrance to Building Instructions) - No Walking Program if School is Closed / Cancelled.  More Information.


2017 Winter Yoga @ Shawnee - Begins Jan. 10th

Yoga is a fun way to keep your "New Year Fitness" resolution! Tuesday evenings, 6 pm - 7 pm. Two eight-week Sessions. Session I is Jan. 10 through March 7, 2017. Session II is Mar. 14 through May 9, 2017 (No class Apr. 18). Yoga with instructor Karen Polvinale. Program accomodates all skill levels - beginners welcome! Register for both Sessions at the same time to save $5. on program fee- Registration information. 


2017 Youth Indoor Soccer - with Huron High School Soccer Coach & Team!

Begins in January - REGISTER NOW! 

INDOOR SOCCER @ SHAWNEEThursday evenings. PK(at least 4 yrs.old)-K at 5:00-5:45 pm. 1st Grade at 6-7 pm. Two Sessions - first session begins Jan. 5, 2017; second session begins March 2, 2017. (Note: PK-K - both Sessions are FILLED - still accepting registrations for 1st Grade.)

INDOOR SOCCER @ WOODLANDS - Saturdays. Grades 2-3 at Noon-1:30 pm. Grades 4-5-6 at 2:00-3:30 pm. Jan. 14 - March 4, 2017.

Huron Boat Basin - Best Live Music Venue again!

Lake Erie Magazine readers have again voted the Huron Boat Basin as one of the area's Best Live Music Venues for 2016!  


Nickel Plate Beach 

 Beach Water Quality Testing is conducted by Erie County Beach Monitoring Program during the season and will resume on Memorial Day weekend in 2017.
