2016 Youth Indoor Soccer with Huron High School Coaches & Players

Indoor Soccer @ Shawnee on Thursday evenings for PK-K-1st grade (Note: Sessions I and II for PK-K filled. We still have openings for First Grade, Session II...see Programs page for details).  

Indoor Soccer @ Woodlands on Saturdays for Grades 2-3 and Grades 4-5-6.   More information.

 

Yoga @ Shawnee  

Two Yoga Winter sessions (Tuesday evenings, 6-7 pm) at Shawnee Elementary School

Winter Session I is Jan. 5 - March 8, 2016 ... even though the Session has begun, you can still join in! Call 419-433-8487. Winter Session II is March 22 - May 24, 2016 (no class on March 29).

City-Wide City Garage Sale at the Boat Basin

  The Spring City-Wide Garage Sale will be held at the Huron Boat Basin on Saturday, June 4, 2016. 9am-2pm. The Garage Sale layout has been reconfigured due to the completion of the new Main Street re-connect project. PLEASE NOTE: All locations/space numbers have changed -- check out the registration form for more information. You can also call 419-433-8487 with questions.  

 

It's never too early to plan Summer Fun at the Huron Boat Basin!

  We are excited about the 2016 Season of Events at the Huron Boat Basin -- Check out the Schedule for Boppin' on the Basin, Movies by the River, and Arts at the Amphitheater.

 

"Top Ten Beaches" in Ohio includes Nickel Plate Beach!

The Cleveland Plain Dealer's article on "The Beach Guide: 10 of our Favorite Lake Erie strands" included Huron's Nickel Plate Beach!  Visit our Parks page for more information on Nickel Plate Beach, including location map link for directions.

 Beach Water Quality Testing ended for the season on Labor Day.  More information is available at  Erie County Health Department Beach Monitoring website.
