What is the new building at Fabens Park?

The new structure is a combination of a covered, open-air Picnic Shelter in front, with enclosed Storage on the back of the building. The project was made possible by the support of the Huron Joint Recreational District, which includes Huron Township, the City of Huron, and Huron City Schools. We are very excited that the 40-foot x 40-foot Picnic Shelter will provide ample room for families participating in sporting events; as well as the general public (room for lots of friends during children birthday parties)! On the practical side, the storage portion of the building will provide much-needed secure storage to increase park maintenance efficiency.
